J-Body of Michigan (J-BOM) is based in southeast Michigan with members spanning the state. We are a group of car fanatics who focus primarily on the Chevrolet Cavalier and Pontiac Sunfire that were built on the General Motors J-Body platform. Each member of J-BOM is dedicated to building the best Cavaliers and Sunfires in the sport compact arena with the support and knowledge of each member. J-BOM doesn’t just build cars, we build friendships, we build futures, and we build our dreams. We drive our cars hard and hold our heads high because we have an unwritten and unspoken agreement that we will live life to the fullest and never fall victim to "The Norm". J-BOM is constantly developing new ways to turn heads at car shows, track events, autocross events, and even on the streets. J-BOM strives to become a leading force in the J-Car community, with our members extensive knowledge in machining, fabrication, engineering, motor building, suspension, in car entertainment, and the willingness to experiment on our own cars. Others might laugh at us when we spend hours on end working on our cars, yet shake our hands when we are done.
